CPU Aircooler Issue

Im considering purchasing the Xigmatek Aegir SD128264, My problem is the fan will either point upwards or downwards when mounted onto the motherboard...Will this effect airflow??

Does your case have a top mounted fan? If yes, mount it pointing upward.

If no, I would consider a different HSF that you can mount horizontally with the fan blowing toward the rear.
