CPU and CPU fan, will this be okay?

500G hard drive
radeon hd 6670 graphics card
6 gigs ram
windows 7 64-bit
right now the processor is a amd II x2 250 processor

I want to get this processor

so I can upgrade my gaming performance a little more, will I need anything else for this? someone was telling me I need to upgrade the other fan because it will get to hot

@ PC beginner

My graphics cars im good with and I know it's a decent one. And I know I need a new CPU so I can get better graphics out of it. I just wanna know if I'll need anything else besides that processor and fan for it to run in my system.

Thanks for that cooler instead man appreciate it, gonna try to get this in as soon as possible so games will be better. Do I need anything else to put it I for my system or just that fan and the processor?
 


If you don't wanna upgrade the GPU or RAM (which it's questionable that you would need more RAM just for gaming anyway), then I'd say you're all set for now.

Well for rage I have the res all the way up and for WoW I have the res all the way up and ultra settings, I saw videos of it being played with skyrum n stud n it all looks really good
