During gaming the cpu temperature reaches 80c and gpu temperature reaches 70c
I have a gtx 960 4gb strix edition which has 2 fans and massive heat dissipation pipes(something like that)
and my cpu has 1 fan(stock)
Also, my case has 2 fans
temperature around the room where the pc is around 30-35 during daytime
Should I install a good cpu fan?
my cpu is core i3 2120
and gpu strix gtx 960

I would suspect that the stock cooler isn't mounted solidly. Every i3 I've had has never gone above 60C with the stock cooler. Max safe temp is 69.1C for that CPU.

Check that the 4 mounting feet are flat on the board. Sometimes one of the push-pins will pop loose. If in doubt, loosen each one (one at a time) and lift up while holding down on the cooler, reset by turning right, press back down. You should hear or feel a 'click' when it is seated and locked. If possible check behind the board to be sure all 4 black pins are expanding the white fingers the same, and that the fingers are locked behind the board.

Your GPU temps are fine.

Edit: I had a typo above stating the safe max temp was 39.1C. Obviously that is incorrect. I changed it to 69.1C. Sorry if it confused anyone.

I know something is wrong with the stock cooler because yesterday I visited a computer shop and asked them to check the cpu fan. They cleaned the fan, applied the thermal paste cleanly and fixed the the 4 pins tightly to the motherboard.Still the cpu is overheating. i am thinking about changing my cpu fan because this one is not working well.
Another thing, fan was taken out and installed by the shop staff i visited, still it did not solve the temperature problem.

I am going to. This cpu fan cost around 30 usd in our country but now-a-days it is hard to come by. I visited 4 to 5 computer shops and I still couldn't find this fan. Now I am going order it online. Online it costs around 40 usd without thermal paste.
And I am from Pakistan

Before you go buy something extra check out your BIOS settings to see how you have your cooling configured. Most motherboards have settings to configure the speed of the CPU fan or you can configure speed curves to dynamically set fan speed based on temps. I wonder if you don't have this fan set to a very low speed.

i think the problem is with the fan, my side panel is open and the fan is rotating at maximum speed.(or close to it)
I also used msi afterburner to confirm this.
That is why i am going to buy a new cpu fan
