CPU and GPU question

If I get like a gt 1030 and pair it with a R5 1600 will it damage the CPU or will it not effect it at all. I ask this question because I want to wait until 1060s go back to normal prices and I have all my parts except the GPU.

It will have no effect. Don't see a situation where the GPU would damage a CPU under normal use.

The Ryzen Cpus have no effect on the GPU and vice-versa. They are independent of each other.
