Question CPU and GPU Temperatures

I just installed my Corsair H100i Platinum Liquid Cooler and was wondering if the cooler is working and if the temps are good. I have an average of 36 c on each core according to iCue and GPU running at 80 c. This is all while playing overwatch at 1440p, 144hz at ultra settings. ok thanks, forgot to mention though, its a i7 8700 and gtx 1080. Also, what do the individual core temps mean?

CPUs have physical cores, and each one has its own temp sensors.

So using those core temps, how can i figure out my cpu temp overall? Or is it the same as the core temps?

Your overall cpu temp is "Package" temp.

Ok, thanks for the help. Might need to get new exhaust fans though because ever since I installed the cooler today, my gpu fans have been lounder than usual.
