Hello everyone,
Thanks for stopping by to check out my question, all help is appreciated
I'm going to tell you my entire story, so bare with me
I first got my I guess you could say gaming PC around 2 years ago, everything was what I expected until my computer blue screened as my hard drive died on me.
After replacing the HDD I had stutters in all my games, it took me around 3 months of searching and taking the computer to multiple repair shops to just throw the computer away and build an entirely new PC.
(In case anyone is wondering about the old PC specs, I can only remember the CPU and GPU)
Old PC GPU and CPU were
CPU = i7 3770
GPU = GTX 770
I had ordered everything new for my PC apart from the PSU and HDD, so I built my new PC and was expecting my issues to be resolved, but sadly I still had my FPS stuttering/drops issues, and I thought it had to be the PSU considering I'd replaced everything. But after ordering a new PSU I found it was still stuttering.
Still to this day I can't find a fix for my stuttering issues, so kinda just deal with it but every now and then looking for new fixes
Right now I'm noticing my GPU is at 60 degrees and my CPU is at 50 degrees while idle on the desktop, is this normal?
Also if it helps in any way, I noticed when I play CS:GO and open google chrome at the same time especially with a Youtube video or a live stream going on, basically any sort of media playing on my other monitor my game caps to 60 FPS or just drops to around there and stays there.
My PC specs are below.
PC SPECS :
i7 4790K
ASUS GEFORCE 970 STRIX
16GB CORSAIR VENGENCE RAM
CORSAIR 850 WATT PSU
XPREDATOR CASE
ASUS Z97 MAXIMUS HERO VII MOTHERBOARD
H100i CORSAIR CPU WATER COOLING
WD BLUE 1TB
WD BLACK 1TB
250GB SAMSUNG EVO SSD
Thanks
