Question CPU and MOBO Compatibility

Hello recently i got ASUS P8H61-M LX3 R2.0 motherboard and i was planning to get i5 3470 aswell so my question is will it work fine together since on asus page it says that it supports i5 3470t and other 3rd generation i5 processors such as i5 3570 etc. But on that list there is no i5 3470 so will it work combined?

Yeah, supports 3rd gen i5/i7 which you have. I saw the same page you probably looked at, it is interesting that the CPU is left off the list, but I did find it specifically listed on GameDebate's page for the motherboard so you should be good to go.
