Hi,

I currently have a Pentium 4 1.5 GHZ ( 400 MHZ System Bus, 256 KB L2 Advanced Transfer Cache, PGA-478) processor. I would like to know if this processor will work with the ASUS P4C800E-DLX Motherboard or will I need a new processor?

Thanks,
Curtis

I believe that chip came in 2 formats. If you have the s423 version, you may be out of luck. I dont know if they make an adaptor, but they may.
If you have the s478 version, according to http://www.asus.com/support/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx you can use it on that mobo.
