Question CPU and motherboard compatibility

I'm building a new PC for my dad and I'd like to know if the i5-9400F is compatible with the Gigabyte B360M D2V. The i5 9400F is on the list of supported cpu's on the Gigabyte website, however PcPartPicker says it may need a bios update, and I dont have an 8th gen cpu to do that. So will the Gigabyte B360M D2V come with a bios version that supports the i5 9400F?
