cpu and motherboard problems pleas help

I have just bought a new amd fx4100 and a asrock N68C-GS FX and done all my research and looked to see if it was compatible with the bios and it is but I have set it all up put the ram in and cpu into the motherboard and it all starts up the fans run ect but none of the usb ports or display work please help me

I have disconnected the graphics card to see If that was the problem but it still didn't work but the car I have is a 550ti

I am getting no beeps from what I can hear . I have 4gb of ddr2 ram and a 580watt psu . But I have just tryed ddr3 from my own gaming pc and ot worked os there a compatability issuie with my ddr2?

I would use the DDR3 for better performance , the other ram might not be compatible.
