CPU and motherboard upgrade for around £150 - £175

Recently bought an GTX 770, and performance is good, but could be better due to my cpu being an i3 530 😛 I have 150 quid to spend, but can go an extra 25 if needed, any help will be appreciated, thanks 😀

You could probably afford something like an FX 6300 and an Asus M5A97 R2 LE.

How well would that preform on CPU-heavy games like Arma 3 and others?

You'll get pretty good performance. For better you can try and get an 8320.
