CPU and Motherboard Upgrade for Streaming, Gaming, and Heavy Photoshop?

I've recently decided that I want to upgrade my build. My current specs just aren't cutting it.

CPU: i5-6500
MOBO: Gigabyte H110M-A-CF
GPU: EVGA GTX 1060 6gb
RAM: 8GB Corsair DDR4
Few different Hard Drives and an SSD.

My debate right now is if I should get a CPU that is compatible with my Motherboard, or if I should jump up to a new motherboard and get something like a Ryzen build. Ideally, I don't want to spend too much over $200, since I've already dropped a lot into this build.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Let's say I'm willing to go like $250, does that change much? Or is a 7700 the best option in that price range?

Thanks for the help. If I decided to go for a Ryzen build, what would be a decent motherboard and cpu?

Suppose you could sell your cpu/board/ram to offset the cost. Would probably net out around the $200 mark.

You must have fast memory to make ryzen work well
