Hello everyone,

I am building a PC, I have already bought my case and motherboard but now I am wondering if everything I have bought will fit together.

Case: Corsair Carbide Spec-01
Motherboard: MSI Grenade A68HM.

I am looking for a good CPU and Graphics Card to put into my Computer, can anyone recommend the rest of my build?

I, myself had this in mind:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 760K
Graphics Card: MSI GTX 960 4gb.
RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE 8 GB DIMM DDR3-1600 CL9
HDD: SEAGATE BARRACUDA ST1000DM003 1 TB
SSD: None
Power Supply:Corsair VS550

My budget is very tight, I have around 700€ left to build the rest.

Thanks in advance!

They should work together. I checked your motherboard specs and it supports the FM2 socket that your Athlon uses. Your case should also support the motherboard you bought.

Your PSU should be well under the maximum limit in terms of stress and draw as well.

Overall, what you had in mind looks like a well put together starter build. Maybe you could even throw in an aftermarket cooler of your choice and overclock your 760K to get even more out of it.

Good luck with your build!

Thank you very much!
This helps me a lot.

Did you mean my PSU didn't have enough power for it to support my computer? Did not really get that part because I am not a native speaker.

Sorry.. I meant you should have enough power to run your PC without a hitch..

You're welcome :)

Thanks again,

If I want to play games mostly on my pc, can you recommend any CPU's or other pc parts that will improve its gaming abilities? Prices don't matter, and can I use a 500 W supply as well?

Thanks in advance

If price doesn't matter, I would seriously recommend going with an i5.. It doesn't have to be Skylake, but having an i5 will improve your gaming experience dramatically. You would have to buy a new motherboard because of the different socket, but it's worth it.
