CPU and/or GPU Issues?

Hello

I'm just after a little bit of advice as I appears to be suffering from some performance issues when playing games.

Specs are:

4690k @ 4.6
VII Ranger
980 Ti (Currently stock)
Win 10 64bit.

Most recently noticed this on GTA 5, im playing the game maxed out, besides some advanced settings and running FSAA. Running with vsync on at 60fps i'm noticing quite often drops in FPS (GTA seems to drop to low 50s)

Whilst this is happening temps and usage look okay (as seen below, the FPS did drop to 53 fps but just missed it with my camera)

I wouldn't expect a 4690 and 980TI to be experiencing any kind of bottlenecking? Any ideas?

Your fps is totally fine, on what resolution do you play?
GTA 5 is a very demanding game what you would expect.

Ahh, I forgot to mention above, that's at 1080.

This guy has a 5960X , as you can see he's not getting better performance either.
