Cpu and ram high usage and low perfomance.

I have an an very low end laptop that spikes to 50% to 100% usage and the performance is very slow like the old days.

But i only wanted to know that how i gonna make this laptop run smoother.. give me a tips or ideas specs down below and i appreciate any answer will help.

Specs: Intel Atom N455 1.66 Ghz
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150
1 GB Ram

What operating system? Problems are Intel Atom CPU and only 1GB of RAM. You could try runnin ccleaner and closing down/removing any unneeded background programs.

Well it's pretty bad hardware in general, but if it's old and hasn't been cleaned alot, you could go about general clean up of unused programs, especially those that run on start up and if you want to.
You can google around how to take it apart so you can clean it of dust to potentially lower temps.

The best thing you could do for it in terms of the software side of things, is to completely format and re-install windows.

Also, one thing that could really help is if it has removable RAM, you could buy a bit higher capacity RAM...

That CPU only supports one memory module max 2GB though, it would still help I guess.

I noticed that it supports 2gb i was imagining this thing will run 4gb in 64bit LOL
Also i will do an general cleaning to reduce heat etc.

I've tried using ccleaner it helped a little and by disabling windows services etc. also i'm running windows 10 32 bit and it support 1gb ram luckily.. that's why i use and it is worth an upgrade.
