Hello, so recently i got a used rx 580 8gb(used for gaming not mining) for 100 euros and i was thinking to upgrade my current cpu and ram from an i5 2500 and 10gb(1x8 1x2) 1333mhz ram to an i7 3770 and 16gb(2x8) 1333 or 1600mhz. I only use my pc to browse the internet and play games at 720p. Now my question is...will the i7 3rd gen and 16gb ram will be enough for the rx 580 for gaming? Also will 1600mhz make a difference from 1333mhz? Also if i go for the xeon e3 1230 v2, will it be good for the rx 580? Thank you.

Solution
I wouldn't "upgrade" from an 2500 to a 3770. The speed bump is not significant.
Unless you highly OC the 3770, you will bottleneck. 1333 to 1600 RAM no difference. For CPU intensive games like BFV 64 player you need 6 cores 12 threads minimum. My old 4 core Ryzen wasn't playable in BFV 64 player. No difference between that Xeon and the i7 3770.
