K so I bought a gtx 1050ti my CPU ATM is a i3 3240. I know this will bottleneck my system I'm using it for gaming. I was going to upgrade my CPU to a i7 3770 is this a good idea or do you think it would be too much, would a i5 be better I don't want to replace my board because that's still in great condition I have a 1155 socket board is there a better option CPU wise keeping with the 1155 pin or is the 3770 the way to go?

The i7 3770 seems like a bit of an older cpu. How much money will you be willing to spend on a CPU? I can definately say the i3 3240 wouldn't be enough for the 1050 ti.Some cpus i'd recommend would be the i3 4170, i5-4460, and the i5-4690K.

sorryboi
