Question CPU at 100% when gaming any game

My CPU is at 100% when i play any game from minecraft to COD and i really dont understand why.
It also dosent rise in temperature

Intel Core i5 7400 @ 3.00GHz
32,0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1069MHz

4c4t CPUs are gonna run 100%, even 4c8t are yesterday’s news.

Unfortunately 4 core/thread CPU’s are not aging well. This is fairly normal.

What games are you playing? Games are becoming more and more demanding pretty quickly. It's crazy how hardware demanding these games have become. 4/4 are struggling and we jumped from 8 gigs of RAM being more then good enough to 16 gigs now becoming the norm. As Titan said 4/4 threads are not aging that great.

What resolution are you playing at? Why I ask is because that will play a part in it to. The give an take between hardware, who does the greater work will depend on the resolution you are playing at. The lower the resolution the more work is put on the CPU. The higher the resolution the more work is put on the video card. I see you don't list a video card, do you have a video card or are you trying to play games on the CPU and Intel Integrated graphics?
