Yes i know many people have asked this question but i cannot find an answer that works for me. So not to long ago my pc stopped turning on, I took it to a repair shop and was told to replace my motherboard. It now has a new motherboard and it seems to be working fine until I enter a game. My CPU idles at around 30% usage when i'm just browsing the internet and things like that, but the second i launch a game it jumps to 99-100% and the game lags so bad i cant even get through the menu.
I have done a virus scan, disabled cool and quiet and it still didn't fix the issue. Temps aren't a problem I have a corsair h60 and my CPU rarely goes above 40 degrees Celsius. Is my CPU possibly on its way out?

Asus 970 pro gaming motherboard
