Hi there, need some help.

I am having an issue when trying to burn a DVD. It starts well and after a while CPU goes up to 100% and the computer freezes.

My system is:

SW: Windows 10 Pro - 64 bits
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K CPU @ 4.0GHz
RAM: 32 GB
Motherboard: Asus Z97-K

I have tried Ashampoo Software and also Power2Go, but both applications freeze.

My drives are:
- Pioneer BD-RW BDR-206D
- Asus DRW-24F1MT

I thought the issue could be with my Pioneer BD drive unit, so I bought a DVD-RW from Asus today and got it installed but the problem persists. ALL system´s drivers are updated !

Usually the CPU usage is very low, less than 10%, only when it starts encoding the videos, it goes to 100% after 30s - 1 minute.

YOu guys are my only hope at this point. I think this machine configuration should have no problems with dvd burning.

what should I try to do ?? PLEASE HELP !!!!

Thank you so much in advance with some good advice or tips.

tks,

Reinaldo

Outlander_04: do you think this really could help ? there are 25 mp4 files that I want to add to a Dual layer DVD.

Ashampoo software encodes it first before burning.

How handbrake could help this process ?

tks,

Reinaldo

Well, I am not trying to modify the video format. all videos are MP4 format.

The software does that when creating a DVD.
