I have recently bought a Ryzen CPU from EBay. With it being EBay, and having Chinese writing on the box, I was a bit suspicious.

When I scan the box:

When I look at the CPU:

The part numbers are different. Is this normal?

Solution
YD170XBCM88AE is an OEM/tray microprocessor
YD170XBCAEWOF is a boxed microprocessor without fan and heatsink

Even though, the important thing is that the serial number is correct. My guess is that they typed wrong the part number. Now you can only put it in your system and check if it is legit or not. Also try a few benchmarks and compare them with online scores of the same cpu to see that it also behaves the same.
