Hello guys i have just upgraded from a gtx 95 to a rtx 2070s and my i7 7770k has started becoming very hot when playing games hitting temperatures of up to 90 degrees in gta v. I was wondering what might be causing this
You are most definitely pushing your CPU harder than it used to, because the CPU is now able to feed the GPU far more data than with your old GTX 950. If you are using the stock Intel cooler on your 7700k you should consider upgrading to at minimum a Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 or CoolerMaster Hyper 212 series 120MM tower cooler.Hello guys i have just upgraded from a gtx 95 to a rtx 2070s and my i7 7770k has started becoming very hot when playing games hitting temperatures of up to 90 degrees in gta v. What is the current cooling solution? (Suspect it is certainly not adequate for the (stock clocked or overclocked?) 7700K, based on your 90C gaming temps.)
