CPU being used instead of GPU/ Integrated graphics being used instead of proper GPU.

Hello!
So i have this issue, apparently my computer doesnt use my proper GPU it uses the integrated graphics card thingy thing (im not good at computers). So i tryed to turn it off, didnt help, now everything is REALLY laggy, so i tried to play some CS:GO and in the XTREME GAMING ENGINE thingy (where you can overclock your GPU) it said that my CPU usage was around 17% - 45% and my GPU Usage was 0%.
Please help, i just got this GPU.
specs:
Quad-core i5 6600 3.3ghz
16 GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 1050 ti G1 Gaming by gigabyte.
Intel (R) HD graphics 530

May be a daft question! Have you connected your monitor to the graphics card output or to the motherboards graphics output!

r the graphics drivers installed properly? use the nvidia geforce experience app to launch ur games for a noob friendly experience.

I have the same problem.. I used to get around 110-150 fps on my GTX 1050 2 GB while playing csgo.. now I'm getting around 40-70 fps ... And around 30 during combat..I have tried the following:

1. Reinstall nvidia driversm
2. Turn off DVR .
3. Razer cortex optimisation.
4. Changed the graphics from integrated to High performance nvidia GTX 1050 .

Please help someone . Facing lot of inconvenience.

Also I have 8 gigs of ram ,Intel i7-7700hq cpu @ 2.80-2.81 GHz, 250 GB SSD ,around 200 GB free space left umm that's it I guess
