[SOLVED] cpu bios version

i have a z390 aorus ultra . the bios came with version f8 . my pc loads and works fine except the cpu runs a little hot. the motherboard website says my i7 9700k should run on version f3 stepping po whatever that is. should i flash back to f3 . would that help my cpu temps. my fan is a cheaper cooler master i71c . i get spikes up to 97 c but seems to run average of 85 or so while gaming . any help please i cant find answers

No, don't flash back. What that means is that the i7 9700k needs version F3 or newer.

Are you overclocking your CPU?

Your CPU cooler is not much (if any) better than the Intel OEM cooler. There are much better performing options, depending on your budget.
