I have an asrock 990fx extreme 4 mobo and a AMD Fx8120 processor.

Been running great for months, then I get bsods randomly (usually power resume from standby). I suspect ram so I run memtest86 to try and determine if I have a bad stick. I keep getting inconclusive results through process of elimination so I swap the the ram for a fresh set. The problem gets worse and more bsods!

I power everything down, turn off the ps and put the old ram back in. No video signal and a code 62. Reseat the cpu and try reseating and swapping ram around. Still code 62. Clear CMOs and get a code 99. Try a new video card, same code 99 and still no video signal. Remove battery from mobo and clear cmos again, now I've got a code 00.

Cpu and video card fans are spinning.

I have tried unplugging everything from the board and running it with just a stick of ram and video card but nothing seems to work.

Mobo toast? Processor maybe?

Thanks! The power supply is fairly decent quality I think. It's an 610 EPS12. I can't get it to post no matter which combination of hardware I use - even with just a single stick of ram, cpu and video card only. All sata is unplugged as well as all usb devices. Still no luck!
