CPU Bottle Neak issues

Can someone help me? I have a AMD FX 8370 that I believe is being bottle neaked to death by my gtx 750ti. On games it gets crazy low FPS but with my Intel i5 2400 and the same gtx 750ti it has no issues with gaming at all.

For an example, I'm a big ARMA 3 player and with a AMD fx 8370 + gtx 750ti I get under 30 FPS on medium/high while on my i5 2400 + gtx 750TI it gets upwards of 60 on ultra.

With games like Arma that are really single core CPU intensive FX cpu's will struggle to run smoothly due to weak single core performance.

Thanks for the fast reply, is there any way of fixing this issue? Overclocking? Underclocking?
