Cpu bottle neck gtx 1050

Hi, I have a system with an nvidia gtx 1050 and an intel Xeon e3 1220 at 3.1ghz. I’m just interested if ther is any possible bottlenecking with my cpu and gpu? Thank you for your time, have a nice day

I don't there should be much of one either way...but you can download Afterburner and check.

Run Afterburner and run a game and increase the settings until you max out the cpu or the gpu.

If you decrease your res/details to 720 and your frame rate increases substantially, then your GPU is your limiting factor currently.

That CPU looks to be equivalent to an i5 2400. So you might be slightly GPU limited in games which require lots of videocard power. You might be slightly limited by the CPU in games which can use more than 4 cores/4 threads. In a few games you might be limited by both, like Far Cry 5.
