Cpu bottleneck help *Thermal Throttle Help*

I have an AMD a8 5500 (Yeah i know its a bad cpu/apu) and i have a GTX 750 in my computer.

How much of a bottleneck is my cpu. Also what kind of cpu would you recommend for around $150-$200 (I would like it to be amd as well) if my cpu is a really big BottleNeck

And last question, How would i know if my computer is thermal throttling if im not able to check the temp of my computer

To see if your CPU is throttling run a stress test and check the frequency and the temps, if it stays at max speed, then you've got no throttling, as for bottleneck, the GPU is quite weak, i dont see the 5500 bottlenecking a 750.
