CPU bottleneck or not?

So my current setup, is a A10 58000k and an R9 270, and there is a pretty big bottleneck that comes with it, when playing on Battlefield. Yes I've tried mantle but I get these huge stutters and then my whole system crashes. So not wanting to spend the extra money for a new motherboard, I'm looking into getting the Athlon X4 860K, how well would this work paired up with an R9 270? Don't tell me to get an FX processor as I'm literally don't have the money for a new motherboard. Thanks in advance!

There shouldn't be a bottleneck. What PSU are you using?

Have you monitored the CPU and GPU temperature while gaming?

Well only the GPU I get about 50 degrees, for some reason I can't view my CPU temps, I do have speed fan installed but it won't show. I do have enough power, The Corsair CX750M PSU so that shouldn't be the problem. I am overclocking my CPU to 4.3 ghz and have my cores unparked with the stock fan, if that's bad, should I reset my settings in the bios? I haven't had my system crash with it like this.

It could be that your CPU is overheating and throttling down. Try running it at stock settings and see if the same problem persists.

Okay, Ill see if that works! I click restore optimized defaults, am I correct on the Gigabyte bios? I'm still sort of new with this types of stuff.
It didn't work, and my GPU usage in Battlefield is still in the 70s and up on certain maps. So would an 860K be a better CPU than the APU I'm using currently?
