Cpu bottlenecking

hi just a quick question. I'm thinking of upgrading my pc . I want to upgrade my mobo and add an extra gpu .

would two gainward 660ti be bottlenecked by my amd phenom ii clocked at 4.0 ghz?

If you are going to go to the trouble of upgrading the motherboard, then you may as well upgrade the CPU as well IMHO. Is your existing power supply going to deal with dual 660ti's ?

yes it would be able to. it's an 850w psu.

You could totally upgrade your processor and sell your old one on amazon or whatnot to get some of your money back
