[SOLVED] Cpu cable doesnt work both ways.

So my motherboard is a msi z97s sli krait edition and recently I purchased the corsair 750x (rmx series) psu and noticed that the CPU cables they provided (2) do not match both ways from motherboard to psu. Is there anything i can do to remedy this?

Pursue PSU vendor to give u another cable. If u bought it locally this should be easy enough.

What should I be looking for? Im assuming this isnt a mistake by the manufacturer, but by me not knowing which type of cable i needed.

No, vendors make mistake now and then.

If u tried all similar cables included, either they forgot to put one in the box, or they gave you the wrong one. Everybody needs this cable, or Mobo won't boot so is not like is optional.
