So, for about a year or so, I've had issues with my computer freezing randomly. I eventually narrowed it down to my CPU (I've swapped out everything else so I know it's the CPU). I've found that limiting it to 4-cores (FX-8350) seemed to make me stable and not freeze up.
Today, I decided to delve into this problem a bit more by going up to 6-cores and seeing if I can be stable there. I'm running everything at default, no OC and when I run an AIDA64 stability test, I notice I fail in about 5 seconds when running a CPU cache stress. Anyone know what could cause this and how I could possibly fix it?
