CPU Cache For GAMING Question

Hey, gents.

The i7-3740QM is almost $200 cheaper than the i7-3840QM and the only difference (minus the .1 GHz that I am not worried about) is the 6MB Cache to 8MB Cache. I will not be doing any video editing. Strictly for gaming, will the 3740QM 6MB cache suffice?

Is it really necessary to spend an extra $200 on 2 more MB in cache...for gaming purposes? How much is even used?

There is no need to spend more for 2mb cache.6mb cache is enough for gaming.so go with i7 3740m.
