I've been plagued by the same Machine Check Exception for several months now. The system crashes with no visible BSOD but a WHEA error message can be found in the event log afterwards.
The crashes don't usually happen at full load (gaming) but at light load such as web browsing/using VLC/sitting in VOIP and only after the system has been online for 24+ hours.
Temperatures are not a problem as verified by HWinfo64 logs.
CPU and motherboard have been recently swapped from R7 1700x and Maximus VII Hero to R7 5800x and Strix X570-E with no effect.
RAM has been verified multiple times by Memtest86 with no errors.
Windows has been reinstalled multiple times prior to and after hardware upgrade.
BIOS settings are completely stock apart from setting RAM to its rated speed (14-14-14-32 3000MHz)
GPU driver version makes no difference.
Specs:
R7 5800x
ROG Strix x570-E
G.Skill F4-3000C14D-32GTZR (2 kits for 64Gb total)
Arctic Cooling Liquid Freezer II 280
EVGA Supernova 850 G2
