I was watching a twitch stream, suddenly the pc just shuts down.

I built this PC a few months back with no issues up to this point.

I pressed the power button to turn it back on and
the Case LED just flashed once and and turned off.
The fans in the case and the cpu fan spin for half a second then shut off when power button is pressed.
I get no post , no bios screen no beeps please help.

Windows 8 64 bit home premium
Cpu: i 7-4770k
Motherboard:AsusH87M-Pro
Ram: 8GB ADATA DDR3 1600MHz x2
PSU:EVGA 600 B 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified 600W
Graphics: XFX R9-270X 2Gb DDR5
Main HD:240GB Samsung SSD
Secondary:HD Western Digatal 1TB 7200Rpm

I have tried everything on the checklist here http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems

I tried resetting Cmos battery.
Reset bios with jumper pins.

I tried with only 1 stick of ram, heatsink and cpu,
while assembled out of the case on a non conductive surface.

Disconnected and reconnected all wires/cables.
Double and triple checked for any loose connections,
burn marks, cracks etc... everything looks like new.

Solution
In the basic configuration (PSU, mobo, CPU & 1 stick of RAM only), and you aren't getting a post - it will most likely be the PSU or Mobo (slightly higher chance on the PSU- but still close to a 50-50 chance).
There might have been a "power issue" (this can originate with the house electricity, the PSU or components within the computer), which can damage components.

Have you tried removing the XFX R9-270 and trying posting with only the onboard graphics?

Removing all components except the CPU, mobo, 1 stick of RAM and PSU (remove GPU, HDD & SSD - plus any optical drives) and trying to boot using the onboard graphics gives a start (this eliminates any of the other components as being a failure OR identifies that one or more of them are the problem. If the system posts - try adding one component at a time until the computer is "rebuilt".

I have tried removing everything that is not required to start, Still doesn't start fans spin then turn off after a half second. I wonder if it's a PSU issue.

im betting on RAM or PSU. can you boot into a memtest86 bootable CD? if the RAM checks out you may as well buy a new PSU...it unlikely that the CPU has failed but it could also be the cause. again, the CPU is least likely..

Hello. This often occurs if you forgot to plug in the 8 pin. Look at the basics first. Make sure everything if fully in, and try taking in and out the 8pin (or 4) motherboard and the 24 pin. Is the +4pin on the 20pin all the way in? Are all the ram dimms all the way in?

That's a surge protector if you didn't know.
