Hello, I have been working my butt off for the past few months, and finally have enough money to buy myself a new PC !

I am mainly interested in 1080p - 60fps - max settings (if possible) AND vr gaming. Not really interested in 4k yet, and I might see to that in a few years if it is worth it. I will also be using two 1080p monitors for daily use (programing and media) with this pc, so power usage should also be fairly low. I believe that for the GPU, the 1070 is best for me. And for the CPU, maybe a i5 ... but ryzen also tempts me.

A pre-built pc that seems perfect is this.

I would just stick an SSD in it. Or buy the (same) components and build it myself.

I also want something that will last me a good few years. Even if I have to set the settings to medium, 60fps 1080p is important ... so I'm trying to future proof it as much as I can.

Should I commit and go for the DELL (or similar components), wait for the prices to go down ? Opinions and arguments are welcome :) - thanks in advance !

UPDATE: No budget range, but don't go for a i9 :3. Something that works for 1080p gaming and VR gaming...

Solution
The 7600k is only 4 cores, I just wouldn't spend that much on a 4 core setup. Between the 1600 & 8400 its a close thing but for gaming only the 8400 is slightly ahead but either is a good choice.

No real budget ... I will just work a bit more if I can't buy it right now. Any CPU that will work well with a 1070 , ideally a i5

So, a ryzen 1600 would be good for a few years for 1080p gaming ? I could also get the i5 8400, or i5 7600k.
