Question CPU Choice (laptop): Intel Core i9-13980HX vs AMD Ryzen 9 7845HX

I'm trying to make a choice between these 2 CPU's, one has a higher clockspeed, the other a lower clockspeed but a higher benchmark score.

The software I use mainly does not really implement multiple threads, mostly uses 1 core.

Any advice which one I should buy?

What exactly will you be taxing the processor with? If it's only going to tax 12 core you should be looking at processors that excel in single core workloads. IMHO, you're wasting an awful lot of resources for a processor that's only going to be taxed with one core.
