[SOLVED] CPU Clock speed jumping

So i installed NZXT CAM and noticed my CPU Intel Core i9-7900x clock speed is jumping from 1200ish between 4000ish even when not doing any thing im not sure if this is new or been going on for a while so what do i do now

So i installed NZXT CAM and noticed my CPU Intel Core i9-7900x clock speed is jumping from 1200ish between 4000ish even when not doing any thing im not sure if this is new or been going on for a while so what do i do now

This is pretty normal as there are background tasks that are consistently running which sometimes will demand some power from the cpu. You have nothing to worry about

It's doing what it was made for and unless you set everything including frequency manually it will continue to do so.
