Question cpu clock speed vs performance in emulators

I was wondering if the cpu clock speed actually affects performance in like emulators such as rpcs3 and xenia?

Well I think that you’ve realized something that clock speed isn’t everything. There are many laptop choices that are very good for a good performance. If you’re looking at the performance levels of a gaming machine then you’re going to have to be dealing with heat issues when under have a Gaming loads

Depending on what your needs are will depend on what you buy but don’t just base it on the clock speed of the CPU
