CPU Compatability question

I have an EVGA P55 LE Mobo and an i5 750, tried switching to an i5 670 and got a BSOD before windows could boot every time can't find the log in event veiwer cause i dont know what im looking for what am i doing wrong

I checked the site couldn't find it im kinda new at this stuff any chance you could point me in the right direction ?


Update: I updated it and now i get an led error on the led indicator on the mobo either 02 or 3A

Is the cpu listed as compatible at EVGA's website?

If so, shut it off, remove power from PSU, and find/reset your CMOS jumper or switch....; if you can't find it, remove CMOS battery for 20 minutes..
