CPU compatibility on an Asus CM5671 motherboard (OEM)

I have a store bought desktop, and I want to upgrade the processor. The mobo is a asus cm5671, and it's running an Intel E5500. I want to upgrade the CPU to a high-end quad core (somewhere in the 9000's). I'm guessing that since the E5500 is fairly new I would be able to upgrade to any 775 chip, but I can't find any compatibility charts to be sure. Can anyone help? I would greatly appreciate any response.
