[SOLVED] Cpu compatibility or bios problem

I bought a used CPU, i7-3770k and want to use it on my rather old motherboard. When i changed the cpu, the systems boots up for a few seconds then shuts down. Does anyone know the reason for this? Also the whole system works fine with the i5-2400 cpu.

Budget desktop:
Motherboard: Biostar tp67b+ ver 6.3
Current cpu: i5-2400
Gpu: Nitro sapphire rx580 4gb
Psu: Tauro 500w
Ssd: WD green 250gb

You likely need to update the BIOS to support newer CPUs.
