Question CPU compatibility

i have a lenovo m83 motherboard just sitting around and im looking into building a small home server with it. will any xeon chips be compatible with this board specifically the xeon e3 1270 v3?

On that note, which form factor is the motherboard from?

This and this might be worth a read. Perhaps see if you're on the latest BIOS version and then pick up a cheap Xeon and test it out?

I used to have an i7 4790k in it which i no longer have, but I do remember updating the bios this past year I just don't remember what version
