Im gonna build a new pc and Im getting the h110m gaming motherboard and this PSU:http://amzn.to/2jWm2Sq and if you go on the website for the psu(https://seasonic.com/product/s12ii-620/) and go to the cables tab it says "4/8 pin pin attached" everybody makes it seem like the 8 pin CPU connectors always split in two but is that true in this case? Will I have to get another PSU or get an adapter or is there a way this will work? Here is the image of the connector from their website:http://bit.ly/2ldVely

That is one solid 8pin in that picture. I say this because there is one big clip rather then two small ones. I don't think that is right.

what do you mean it isn't right? It is really odd I'm used to seeing 4+4 pin connectors do you have any solution in mind?

That doesnt look like it splits into 2 in the middle so you can plug into a 4, unless its just looking nice for the picture. im not sure what to tell you.

So if it is 8 pins like this http://bit.ly/2kIdZga then it would plug into the 4 pin just fine? or would I need an adapter?
