[SOLVED] CPU cooler alignment and thermal paste. Okay or not?

I have doubts regarding two things if it'll be safe or not.

1. In pic 1, the thermal paste is coming out like that. Will that be safe?

2. In pic 2, I kinda messed up slightly here. The bracket which holds the CPU cooler from under the motherboard has different aligned holes for AM 4, AM 3 etc. I put 3 screws in AM 4 holes, but the last screw i put in the AM3( which was right next to AM4 hole). I realised it after setting up everything when I looked at the screws attached to the bracket at the back of motherboard. So this is causing the slight gap (as shown in pic) where the cooler base is not completely on the processor. and on the other side it's properly aligned. Is it safe?

Solution
Disassemble and move the screw to where it needs to be. The cooler must not have gaps and you don't need much paste at all, its meant to fill in the irregularities not bridge gaps.
