Cpu cooler choice

Hey I'm looking to buy a i5 7600k and was going to use a cryorig h5 universal to cool it. Firstly is this a good cooler or is it overkill. Secondly I was going to use a nzxt s340 ellie case and I'm worried because the clearance between the case and the cooler is 1mm, will this be ok or has anyone used this in a previous build.

Cryorig makes excellent coolers, I would recommend it. The clearance is fine, as long as it fits inside the case. You should be good to go, and maybe overclock a bit.
