CPU Cooler Does Not Fit

I have an ASUS Prime B350-plus and a Be Quiet Shadow Rock Slim CPU cooler. I simply cannot find a position in which the backplate will fit the motherboard, and cannot find any kind of adapter to mount it with. Any help?

Did you check the cooler was compatible with your motherboard socket ?
