CPU cooler fan speed for high end gaming

Hey all i have a thermaltake frio ock cpu cooler and it works fine, i was just wondering i have the fan speed set to the lowest speed will it be too low to run say bioshock infinite or guild wars 2 or even crysis 3 on ultra settings, i just like it because its quieter at lower speeds, but im not sure if the lowest setting will be able to handle the heat off the cpu, so what should the ideal speed be for high end gaming (not overclocking).

The ideal speed is whatever your board chooses. Most cpu coolers plus right onto the board so that they have dynamic fan speeds. There really are no correct speeds other than what your board pick.

the cpu fan has a small fan controller knob that manually changes the speed, i have it currently set at the lowest setting i just want to know if running it at its lowest speed is dangerous for the heat dispersion

Load test it at minimum speed with something like Prime95 and see.

Smeeze is right, just do load tests until you find a acceptable temp.

IT seems that at higher speeds and at lower speeds, the temp stay the same, thanks for your help guys.
