CPU cooler for 185mm chassis

I've been going crazy lately, asking questions on forums calling computer guys etc. Haven't found a concrete answer yet. I know i messed up in getting a case that's only 185mm wide. However, i'd like to know what is the maximum sized fan i could get with a 185mm chassis, I've looked for 90mm fans at the local shops but the computer guy says that they are "generic" fans and won't help out my problem too much, My fx 8350 gets up to 87C when playing planetside 2 and it scares me a little, or perhaps someone could magically just know that the fx series are supposed to go that high or something of the other.

87C on an 8350 is near death range... you don't want to do that I'd be surprised if you haven't already hurt your chip if it gets that hot often...

sorry i should have asked all in one comment, but what would the highest i would want my 8350 to go while gaming, i called AMD but their customer service sucks, and i was on hold for 2 hours

I would want mine <70 during stress testing, less than that gaming if you do it a lot
