Hey, I'm trying to pick a good CPU Cooler that let's me overclock to at least 4 GHz. I'm new to this so i don't know much about which is best. If i go the Noctua NH-D14 what will be the max 24/7 overclock? What's the difference between the Noctua NH-D14 and the Thermalright SilverArrow because i can get the SA for $30 cheaper

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Xigmateck Balder? 40-60 Dollars with provision for a second fan. Keeps my 2600k at 44-48 Under load. And i spent $60 on it. $48 for Heatsink $12 for extra fan.

I vote it worth it.

i'd recommend the coolermaster 212+ great cooler for the price probably better than the Thermax Spire
another one that's great for ur price range is the thermalright archon it's a bit more expensive than the coolermaster 212+ but has amazing performance

Also up in the high end spectrum are:
Thermalright Venemous X
Prolimatech Megahalems
Thermalright Silver Arrow
Noctua NH-D14
Scythe Mugen 2 (really really good for the price)

If you want good performance for the money:
Scythe Mugen 2
Coolermaster 212+

Really good performance:
Thermalright Archon
Noctua NH-D14
Prolimatech Megahalems (no fans included)

^ I haven't read much about the Xigmatek Balder
http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/2 [...] ndex6.html
If that review is right, I wouldn't get it over the Scythe Mugen 2 (around the same price)

Im not to sure on that review, personally owning the Balder, i recommend it. That review was probably with the single fan.
If your after eye candy the Xigmateck offers that with the great performance.
If your after just the performance Cooler and not the eye candy yep the Mugen 2 is for you.

scythe mugen 2 is great for the $40 price. i use it on my i5-2500k which is oc'd to 4.2mhz @ 1.2v. 28-30c idle/browsing web, 43-45c gaming. it is listed as scythe scmg-2100 at newegg, even though everyone calls it scythe mugen 2.
